About the Women in Open Pit Mining Group
We are a group of highly motivated women, and allies, that work in technical disciplines within open pit mining. We are from a combination of industry, consulting, and academic fields, covering a range of technical disciplines involved in pit slope stability. The common thread is we are all interested in building community, developing initiatives, and coordinating events to encourage and support further advancement and visibility of women as technical leaders in open pit mining. The group welcomes everyone who supports these goals from all career stages.
