Bruce is a Principal Consultant with over three decades of mining rock mechanics experience in open pit and underground mines and studies. His background spans operational roles in South Africa's deep-level gold and iron ore mines and Zambia's underground and open pit copper mines, where he managed significant pit failures along with their operational and corporate impacts. His experience also includes open pit interaction with underground operations. At SRK Canada, Bruce has provided operational support and technical studies for operations and projects across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. His open pit expertise covers diverse conditions, including high rainfall saprolites, structurally complex deposits, altered and porphyry systems, cold climates, and slope failure management. Bruce serves on review boards and conducts regular due diligence assessments.
