Glen graduated from the University of Auckland in New Zealand with a Masters Degree in Mine Geology and started his career in the geothermal industry working on exploration projects in both New Zealand and Indonesia. In the late 90’s work took him to Western Australia where he was introduced to mining through geotechnical and resource exploration across several mine sites.
Glen has now over 25 years of experience in exploration, mine development and operations predominantly within open pit mining, with experience in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Mongolia and Africa. Glen specialises in geotechnical characterisation, evaluation and design for open cut resources across the extractive industry in hard and soft rock environments. Glen has also been extensively involved in on-site geotechnical audits and development of operational risk management plans as well as being a technical lead in concept to feasibility mining projects in Australia and internationally.
