Thokweng Thokweng is a Geotechnical Engineer by Profession. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Geology and COMCERT Strata Control. He has over 13 years of experience in the mining industry, having worked for Debswana Diamond Company and BCL Limited underground Mine. During his time at Jwaneng Mine, he was involved in various projects including the Final Wall Control Project, Dip Slope Mining project, and a Slope Optimization Project. He is a member of the Council of The Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM).
