RAMI ABOUSLEIMAN
Rami Abousleiman is a Geologist and Geomechanical Engineer with 10 years consulting experience across civil, environmental, and mining industries. He holds a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in Geological Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. His research focused on advanced applications of discontinuum models to roof and pillar stability in underground excavations in coal-measure rock, resulting in development of a bolted voussoir beam analog. He is currently a Project Engineer with Knight Piesold in Denver, Colorado and works on site characterization, design, and project management of open-pit and underground mines, tailings storage facilities, and pumped storage hydropower projects across all phases of project development.
