Leopoldo Muñoz is Mining Engineer and Master in Mining from the University of Chile. With 8 years of experience in the explosives industry performing roles in technical, marketing and commercial areas, he has six papers published in different international conferences (Chile, Peru, Brazil and the United States). Currently, he is Technical Services Engineer in the Orica Blast Engineering team in Brazil, working on the implementation of new technologies and value propositions for costumers with focus on controlling and minimizing the impacts generated by blasting, increasing productivity, optimizing fragmentation and reducing costs.
