Mr. Gómez is a civil engineer who holds a Diploma in Mining Applied Geomechanics. Has worked in the field of soil and rock mechanics for major mining projects in South America, Africa and Europe for 35 years, thirty of which are with ITASCA. He has experience in all aspects of stability analysis and modeling of rock masses, with special emphasis in slope stability studies for major open pits. He is currently the General Manager to the South American operations of ITASCA.
