RODRIGO SILVA

RODRIGO SILVA

CHILE

Mr. Silva has significant experience in the field of applied rock mechanics, developing 2 and 3-dimensional slope stability analyses and back-analysis of slope failures in open pit mine projects in Central and South America, considering numerical modeling and kinematic analysis. He also has experience using numerical modeling to evaluate design in underground mines and in field testing for rock mass pre-conditioning. He is currently the Geomechanics Manager for the South American operations of ITASCA.
