I am BSc in Geology, Post Degree in Underground Hydrology graduating from the Universidad Politecnica de Cataluña, Spain and Executive MBA by OBS Business School and Universitat de Barcelona. I have around 20 years of relevance experience specializing in applied mining in different countries as Spain, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Domincan Republic, Colombia and Canada.

A part of my experience was gained working at the complex Las Cruces, Spain.  After I worked in Peru for 3,5 years in different international projects as Quellaveco by Anglo American, Yanacocha by Newmont, or Pueblo Viejo by Barrick Gold. Currently I spend 10 years working in Chile, first as consultant for different projects of international projection, stand out Los Bronces UG by Anglo Américan, Carmen de Andacollo by Teck, in the last 4 year I came back to the operation mining first I was Senior Hydrogeologist from Minera Los Pelambres by AMSA and for 3 years I was part of Planning & Technical  team in Minera Escondida by BHP as Lead Hydrogeology..

Currently my activities as Global Practice Lead Hydrogeologist at Lundin mining are:

  • Leader hydrogeological technical Knowledge cross Lundin mining operation
  • Leader from Technical Assurance Processes (TAP) in hydro aspects at the Life of Mine for each Lundin Mining operation.
  • Development the portfolio and Integrated work plan with in.
  • Water stewardship
  • Technical leadership in Mine hydrogeology, TFS, basin and environmental hydrogeology
  • Provide specialist hydrogeological advice in project of mining dewatering (UG and open pit), water resources, field work cross all Lundin Operations.
  • Develop and implement Stranders and guideline related with the hydrogeology, mine dewatering and depressurization and Water Management
  • Leadership in Audits as GRB, ITRB and standards
  • HSE, Risk Management
